Tangled In Emotions is about being so cooped up and tangled in ones own feelings that one pushes everybody away whether good or bad. In this case, the girl finally found the love of her life but won't let him in. The lyrics convey a love scene between the two lovers having an emotional tug of war. When I wrote this song, I thought of two dancers in a love scene beautifully and gracefully falling in and out of each others embrace.
